I'm willing to bet that many of you had friends over the holiday season AND many of you took tons of pictures with your new digital camera! The next thing to do is to spend a butt-load of cash on getting the photos printed out. I've done something different this time:

I've uploaded all of my photos for the past year to an online digital picture site (which there are many, so shop by price/coupon codes) and ordered a photo memory book. I've got to tell you, this is the best thing for organizing all of your photos of you and your friends and celebrations. You could easily spend 40 dollars on a good photo album, and that wouldn't include the extra sheets you would probably need. The memory books are inexpensive and you don't have to mess around with finding the right picture sleeves.

The online photo sites make it easy by providing a desktop upload client as well as an easy to use web interface. You have your choices of book styles, you can edit captions and even pick each page layout.

So far I've ordered 3 books and I've got to tell you that the print quality is great...certainly better than color laser quality.

Along with the photobook, the online digital photo site also has other awesome gift ideas (which scored me some points with the in-laws this past Christmas) such as calendars, mugs, key chains, cut-outs and posters.

Valentines is coming up guys, so get on the ball before time runs out. Books should be ordered 2 weeks in advance.
